An “Ace” for Tennis!
For the first time since joining the Wood County Middle School Tennis League 5 years ago, WCCS sent 2 players to the finals of the league tournament. Congratulations to Sarah Michael and Ellie Powell who claimed 2nd place at the #1 and #2 seed singles, respectively. The girls team finished the regular season with a 6-3 record, good enough for 4th place out of 10. The boys finished 4-3-2 with wins over Hamilton, Marietta, VanDevender, Veritas, and ties with Blennerhasset and Catholic.
